Delivery & FAQs
Ongoing severe weather conditions across the North of England and Scotland are affecting courier services, which is impacting the ability for our couriers to fulfil on-time deliveries.
As the situation is changing regularly, we are monitoring locations closely.
If upon reviewing your order we find your region is affected, we may be required to postpone your delivery date and will email you with further information. Thank you for bearing with us while we work with our couriers to manage this situation and we hope you stay safe during this period!
As a small, independent tea brewery, we brew and prepare every order with care. Please allow 2 working days for us to prepare your order. You’ll be able to select your preferred delivery date at checkout.
Typical delivery days
• London (within M25): Tuesday – Friday
• UK Mainland: Tuesday – Thursday
Delivery days may change during busy or holiday periods, so please check this page before ordering.
We offer FREE delivery on orders over £20 within our London delivery zone, with 100% emission-free delivery as part of our commitment to thoughtful, sustainable practices.
Delivery Timing
Deliveries take place on your nominated date, typically between 9am – 8pm.
Depending on your address and route, your order may be delivered either by our courier partner or occasionally by our trusted local driver:
• Courier deliveries: You’ll receive tracking and a 2-hour delivery window on the morning of delivery
• Local driver deliveries: You’ll still receive an email notification on the morning of delivery, but live tracking will not be available
As our teas are delivered fresh, we recommend someone is available to receive the delivery.
Unfortunately this option is currently suspended - please check back!
You’re warmly welcome to collect your order directly from our Battersea kitchen after 2 working days. Simply select Pick-Up at checkout — no minimum spend applies for pick-up orders.
Once ready, your order will be held for 5 working days before being disposed of to maintain product integrity.

A delivery fee for £4.99 is applicable for orders up to £60.
For orders above £60, we’ll contact you to arrange an additional courier & insulated packaging fee, as multiple boxes are required to keep your tea chilled and protected.
Deliveries are sent overnight via DPD or Parcelforce to arrive on your nominated delivery date, typically between 9am – 2pm, with a 2-hour delivery window sent on the morning of delivery.
Please note: This service excludes the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands and Northern Ireland.
Whilst we carefully select courier partners with a strong reliability record, occasional delays can happen. If you’re ordering for an event, we recommend choosing a delivery date 1–2 days earlier for peace of mind.
To help us brew thoughtfully, minimise waste and deliver sustainably, a minimum order value of £20 applies to all online orders.
For London deliveries, orders over £20 receive free delivery.
Pick-up orders have no minimum spend.

At present, we’re unable to guarantee a specific delivery time in advance.
However, if you require delivery within a particular time window (for example for a business address, gifting, or an event), please contact us (mailto:hello@chadong.co.uk)before placing your order and we’ll be happy to discuss suitable courier options with you.
On rare occasions, London deliveries may be delayed due to traffic or courier network disruption. If this happens, please rest assured that your teas will be stored safely in chilled facilities overnight to protect freshness and quality.
If you have any concerns or your order hasn’t arrived when expected, please contact us and our team will be happy to help.
On rare occasions, parcels may be delayed due to extreme weather, traffic disruption or courier issues. Our eco-friendly insulated packaging keeps your drinks safely chilled for up to 48 hours.
If your parcel arrives more than a day late or isn’t chilled on arrival, please email us so we can assist.
Tracking emails are sent the evening before your nominated delivery date. If you haven't seen it, please check your junk/spam folder.

Every order is carefully packed using food-safe, eco-friendly insulated packaging with cooling elements to ensure your tea arrives beautifully chilled and fresh. Simply place it straight into the fridge upon delivery.
